Streamr is a pioneer building the first Decentralized Data Network, enabling real‑time data distribution and monetization through blockchain technology. The goal was to translate a complex, highly technical concept into a clear, consistent brand identity and intuitive digital experiences that both tech-savvy and non‑technical users could trust and navigate with confidence.
To strengthen communication across digital touchpoints—We redefined the brand vision, planned and redesigned the ecosystem of digital product touchpoints, from the website to core digital products, balancing cutting‑edge innovation with usability, trust, and scalability. Research, user‑driven design, and close collaboration with developers helped translates complexity into clarity and user‑centered product.

Sell benefits also, not just features
From the start, the Streamr product has been in an unusual position as a first‑of‑its‑kind platform, with the main messages across digital touchpoints centered on feature‑selling. This worked well for a specific group of users—Technical Builders and Developers.
But the community is growing and becoming much broader. There are also non‑technical users and token holders, so the messaging and interface needed to evolve. The product had to blend features with clear benefits and, as it matured, show what users can actually do with those features. A balance between benefits‑led and features‑led communication became essential.

A motion system created with a purpose
Introducing tech-savvy concepts in a friendly way isn’t always a walk in the park—especially for brand-new technologies. Companies are battling for your attention. In the TikTok era of fleeting focus and short-form videos, the first few seconds decide if users stay engaged. We used motion to slow down the pace of interaction—inviting users to pause, take a breath, and engage with care as a smooth experience. In doing so, the site redefines what complex, realtime data products can feel like: less technical, more human.

The launch of Streamr 1.0 and its ecosystem of digital products
The culmination of over six years of research and development, three rounds of incentivized testnets, and overcoming a technical hurdle that caused a last minute launch abort, Streamr 1.0 is here marking a new era of decentralized data broadcasting. We are more than happy for our humble contribution for this landmark milestone that signifies the completion of the original 2017 roadmap. We worked on the launch video with the help of Stuart Wade, an animation "wizard" along with the site iteration and graphic production across digital touchpoints and social platforms.
All-in-one spot for Web3 and open data builders to unlock live data value
We planned and designed The Streamr Hub—a dynamic, modular upgrade merging the Streamr Marketplace and Core App for easy updates and new features. Its open, explorable UI encourages creating, sharing, and discovering real-time data streams, with seamless tools for finding, publishing, and subscribing—plus dedicated pages for established projects—making it an all-in-one hub for Web3 and open data builders to unlock live data value.
We designed a seamless, decentralized chat experience on Streamr real-time data network—featuring serverless group/private messaging, ENS identities, token-gated rooms, and tamper-proof communication via peer-to-peer streams. The simple and intuitive interface makes Web3 social interactions feel effortless and fun, blending wallet connections with hot-wallet signing for frictionless onboarding.
